Thank you for your interest in supporting the McNair Research Scholars Program at Delta State University. This is a federally funded initiative that annually supports approximately twenty-five undergraduate students who are preparing for graduate study. All of these students are first-generation and low-income students or they are members of groups who are traditionally underrepresented in graduate school education.
The mission of the McNair Research Scholars Program is to successfully prepare learners to earn their PhDs and to encourage them to consider the professoriate. This is accomplished through research and other scholarly activities, workshops, graduate school visits, research conferences, and cultural events.
Contributions to the McNair Research Scholars Fund will enable the expansion of the program’s services, including greater opportunities for scholarly student presentations, graduate school preparation, and faculty engagement.
How to Donate:
To donate online to the McNair Research Scholars Fund, please click here to access the Delta State Foundation page. From there, click on the “Make a Gift to the DSU Foundation” button. Next, in the “Choose Fund” drop-down menu, select “Specify a Fund Not Listed.” Complete the form and type “McNair Research Scholars Fund” in the Additional Information box.
